Gold Reaccreditation Report 2024 (PDF) [994KB] (opens new window) The Rights Respecting Schools Award (RRSA) recognises achievement in putting the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC (opens new window)) at the heart of a school's planning, policies, practice and ethos. A rights-respecting school not only teaches about children's rights but also models rights and respect in all its relationships: between teachers / adults and pupils, between adults and between pupils. We were awarded the Gold Award in January 2018, one of only 380 schools to achieve this (as of that date). In May 2021 and again in May 2024 we were re-accredited and sustained our Gold Award, receiving some very positive and welcome feedback. You can view our reports on our Achievements page. Please have a look at the School Blog to see how we get involved with lots of different activities to support children at a local, national and global level.
