Term 3 in Glendevon

The Glendevon boys (and staff) can’t believe that we are nearly at the end of term 3 – it has been such a quick term. Here are some of our best bits.

We all particularly enjoyed utilising the multi-sensory room during our story time which was about a wet walk when we got lost and had to find our way back.  In science week we enjoyed exploring adapting animals in our multi-sensory time.

We continue to have opportunities for pupils to work with specialists who come in to school as well as utilise resources and groups around the local and wider community.

Exploring the Yard adventure playground interacting with unfamiliar peers and staff and developing our gross motor skills.

Happy Hoofbeats caring for an animal and tactile exploration.

Charan, Barrowland Ballet Theatre and Live music now exploring music and movement through music encouraging independence and interactions.

Ensuring that we have regular sessions exploring our sensory development is crucial and the boys enjoy sessions of tac pac, sensology, soft play, bikes and new sensory experiences this term including the zorb balls and hammocks which have been firm favourites.

We hope everyone has a lovely Easter break when it arrives and we are looking forward to some lovely sunny days when we come back in term 4.
