Our pupils experience a wide range of approaches and activities on a daily basis. Please read below to find out more about some of these approaches/activities.
Our pupils are given the opportunity to experience Tac Pac throughout the school week. For some pupils this can be as often as daily. This is a sensory communication resource using touch and music to help communication and social skills.
This is an approach to support development of early interaction abilities. It focuses on supporting pupils to enjoy being with other people, react, interact and practice communication routines.

In Beatlie we use Song Signifiers to support pupils' understanding of daily routines and activities. Please click on the link below to listen to these.

On body signing is really important for our pupils it can help:
- To support with development of familiar routines and activities
- To encourage the understanding of language
- Bring the adult close to the pupil
- Make adults language slower, simpler and clearer
- Compensate for visual aspects of non-verbal communication
